I think Newshouse.com uses Lupton's grid technique perfectly in its design. You can tell the site is organized by columns, and that the website falls into a visual order according to those columns. I also like how the main visual spans three of these columns exactly. This gives a neat consistency to the website. The site saves the space by its logo as white space so the logo stands out more. Clearly gird lines were used or Newshouse.com wouldn't look so crisp.

ReplyDeleteI really like this example of grids. Newshouse's website definitely utilizes this concept well, making it easy to follow and very organized. This was also a very good idea, using a website as an example of grids, and creative as well. Great job!
